St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara

St.Kuriakose Elias Chavara: 1805-1871 is a Great visionary and pioneer who     left his footprints on the fields of education,school reform, media, culture   and religious formation,St Chavara inspires the Carmelities of Mary   Immaculate(CMI) Congregation and all their institution to continue with his   yeomen service to society. He was a great Karmayogi and Jnanayogi of the 19th Century.His   Prophetic vision on education was not merely being literate,but holistic development of a   person.This led him to establish a Sanskrit school in 1846. He was a man of prayer and charity. He   inspires and directs all the education endeavors of Pushpa English Medium School.

  And he speaks to the students: “Good students are the source and real treasure of all the nations    and good books are their real wealth during the period of academic formation”
